FIRST LOOK: DETAILS OF THE PROPOSALS FOR MIAMI-DADE COLLEGE’S DOWNTOWN SITE

The four proposals for Miami Dade College’s prime downtown site were unsealed on Monday, revealing renderings and offering a deeper look at the bidders’ mixed-use projects and partners. FIRST LOOK: American Dream Miami Mega Mall’s Floor Plan

The American Dream Miami mega mall would have two levels of retail in a figure eight layout surrounded by scores of amenities, including an indoor ski dome, according to documents recently filed with the county.

The development in northwest Miami-Dade County aims to be the largest mall in North America with 6.2 million square feet plus 2,000 hotel rooms. In its application to the county, Triple Five Group said the mall would have similar vehicular traffic on a per-square-foot of leased space as the smaller Mall of America in Minnesota. Orlando-Area Disney Timeshare Foreclosures Abound

Disney World is a big draw for buyers of timeshare units, but proximity to the Magic Kingdom is no guarantee that the buyers will avoid foreclosure.  The number of foreclosed timeshare units near Disney World in the Orlando area has fallen from the levels of 2011 and 2012 but still tops 900 a year.  Source: The Real Deal.  read more…
